RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS, ASSUMPTION OF RISKS AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

Our trips and courses take place in natural, uncontrolled mountain environments. There are inherent risks associated with the activities. Our professional guides and instructors are trained, and work hard to ensure your safety. The fact is though, there is no such thing as a risk free trip or course in the mountains.

You need to acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to the waiver before registering for a trip or a course with us.

Please take a few minutes to review it prior to registering. Click here for the document.

All of our guests are required to physically complete a Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks, and Indemnity Agreement prior to undertaking a trip with us. A copy will be available for you to complete when we meet at the commencement of your trip.

CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICY

We reserve the right to cancel trips. If we cancel your trip we will either issue a refund or credit you for a future trip.

If you cancel your trip we will not refund your payment.

If trips are cancelled by us due to circumstances beyond our control, we will credit you for a future trip.

Circumstances beyond our control may include but may not be limited to:

  • natural disaster

  • civil emergencies

  • pandemic

If you can not travel due to travel restrictions imposed due to such circumstances, we will credit you for a future trip.

If you or a member of your immediate family have tested positive for Covid-19 we will credit you for a future trip.

If the price for a future trip is different than what you have paid. We will ask you to pay the difference in price. Trips may be shortened or lengthened as a result of not being able to access or weather issues. These situations are beyond our control and are part of the reality of recreating in the backcountry. We do not compensate you for shortened or lengthened trips. Trip insurance is strongly recommended.

REFUND POLICY

Payments are non-refundable with the exception of the situations noted in our Cancellation Policy, unless we can re-sell your spot (which may not be possible, or may be for a reduced price), less a 25% administration fee. Trip insurance is strongly recommended.
